AI and Young People: The Future of Thinking

  • Saturday, October 3, 2026 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

North York Central Library · 5120 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M2N 5N9

Moderator: Ryan Kelln, Innovator in Residence, Applied AI

With Dashiel Carrera, Diana Maliszewski, Ronit Novak and Omar Shahin

Young people are the first generation growing up with AI everywhere.

An honest conversation about AI and youth: what young people are actually doing with it, what worries them, and what adults keep getting wrong. Audience questions welcome. This is not a lecture about cheating. It is the older conversation about thinking for yourself, now that digital intelligences are developing too.
